Another classic number and this one's definitely gearing up for Spring! As always, if you want a more specific mix get in touch, I hope you are taking advantage of this because it takes *time* to make these things :)
Recording this I found that a couple of days of playing the flute had brought my face back a little, so I thought I'd have a crack at a flute solo - doesn't sound too bad, it lasts two choruses of the melody plus a bit of Bb vamp - and the baritone got a new reed in the post today so that deserved celebrating as well! The bari solo is just over the two-key *modulate-resolve* sequence, a kind of halfway house between the full changes and the basic vamp. But hey, why not take a deep breath and just blow over the lot - get some Lovers Rock in your life with a small side order of John W, the big man himself :)
Don't forget, if you go for the no horns option you can try writing your own track over the (I believe it's called a) riddim, what?
